Leo Vezzali

Co-Founder and Stereoscopic Supervisor

Mr. Vezzali came to Los Angeles in 2001 after a three year stint as Creative Director and co-founder of San Francisco based Shockwave Pictures. From 2001 through 2002 Mr. Vezzali worked as Lead Compositor in the Theatrical Finishing Department at Hammer Creative Advertising, logging hundreds of hours on the Tremor System, finishing 2K Trailers for Sony, Fox, Warner Brothers, Disney, Columbia, New Line, Paramount, Lions Gate and many more. In 2002, he moved to Reality Check Studios in Hollywood where he served as a visual effects supervisor and technical producer on the Real D stereoscopic demo, which helped launch what is now the premier brand for stereoscopic theatrical exhibition. Just prior to founding Identity Studios, Inc., Mr. Vezzali was the Digital Intermediate Pipeline Manager on James Cameron’s 3D IMAX film, Aliens of the Deep. Since, he has worked on more than 70 projects, including The Chronicles of Narnia: “Voyage of the Dawn Treader”, Piranha 3D, U2-3D, and the Stereoscopic Demo for 3D-Net, a joint venture between Discovery Channel, Sony and IMAX.
Mr. Vezzali lives in the Santa Clarita Valley with his wife, daughter and two sons.


David Scott Van Woert

Co-Founder and Producer

Identity FX, Inc. is David’s second entertainment industry start-up company. In 1999, he co-founded Shockwave Pictures, a digital production studio based in San Francisco. For four years David served as the Director and CEO of the company, building a client list which included Bill Graham Presents, SFX, Palm Pictures, Youth Speaks, SunTrust, BankOne, Michael Franti, and Martin Luther. David’s production and project management experience spans nearly two decades; since 1993 he has been credited as 1st Assistant Director, Associate Producer, Director and Producer on dozens of projects from independent feature films to music videos and commercials. He served as Media Director for Youth Speaks from 1999 to 2001 and a Field Producer for ON24.com from 2000 to 2002. In 2001, he won awards for his direction of Neil Labute’s Bash and Wendy Wasserstein’s Waiting for Phillip Glass in San Francisco.

As a Supervising Producer of Identity FX, David has managed more than 80 projects through completion, working with clients that include Warner Brothers, Paramount Pictures, 20th Century Fox, Walden Media, NBC/Universal, Dreamworks, Columbia Pictures, The Weinstein Company, and The Discovery Channel, and working on such recent titles as Green Lantern, Conan the Barbarian, The Chronicles of Narnia: The Voyage of the Dawn Treader, and The Mechanic. David lives with his wife and sons in Los Angeles.


Alison Savitch

Visual Effects and Stereoscopic Producer

Alison Savitch is a producer in all aspects of Multi-media entertainment; from Blockbuster live action movies & television to theme park attractions for the worlds leading parks to special venue production. She also specializes in producing and the supervision of digital visual effects for blockbuster movies, animation, and themed entertainment worldwide.

Ms. Savitch is Chair of the Producer’s Guild of America New Media Council, and Co-chair of the Visual Effects Committee for the entire PGA. She is on the National Board of Directors for the Producers Guild, the Advisory Board of Gnomon School of Visual Effects and is a founding Board Member of the Visual Effects Society. Savitch is known for her innovations in Feature Films, TV, Theme Park Entertainment, Animation, Motion Capture, and all aspects of New Media and 3-D Stereoscopic Production.

Robert Lovy

Visual Effects Producer, Budapest

Robert Lovy is a VFX Producer, Director and Writer of feature films as well as international advertising commercials. With over two decades of experience in Production Design and Special Effects and ten years of working in Eastern Europe (Prague, Budapest, Kiev, Istanbul) Robert now heads our IDFX office located in Budapest.


Peter Salvia

As a Producer, Editor and Colorist with nearly 10 years of professional experience, Peter specializes in creating 2D & 3D content for online, broadcast and feature film markets. Peter combines his talent for producing with his passion for the craft and technologies of film making. His accomplishments include being one of the youngest ever Executive Producers for Discovery Communications International, working as a Producer for the Democratic National Committee where he was a personal videographer to President Barack Obama and, most recently, serving as Stereoscopic Production Manager at IdentityFX, Inc. for the 2D to 3D conversion of Lionsgate’s Conan the Barbarian.

Peter is currently implementing cutting edge stereoscopic 3D pipelines for digital acquisition and post production to service the rapidly growing 3D feature film and broadcast markets. A consummate team player, Peter prides himself on working with the best and brightest professionals to promote and innovate best practices, keeping projects on deadline and within budget.
